Occupational Therapy

At Samagra Child Development Centre, we understand that each child is unique, which is why our team of experienced occupational therapists provides personalized assessments and interventions tailored to meet the individual needs of every child. Whether your child is struggling with daily activities, fine motor skills, sensory processing, social interaction, or any other developmental challenge, we are here to help.
Our holistic approach to therapy focuses on fostering independence, confidence, and a love for learning. Through a combination of evidence-based techniques, play-based interventions, and collaboration with parents and caregivers, we empower children to overcome obstacles and thrive in all areas of their lives.
Gross motor skills development: Through targeted exercises, activities, and play-based interventions, we help children improve their gross motor skills, such as running, jumping, throwing, and catching, to support their participation in sports, recreation, and everyday activities
Balance and coordination training: We work with children to enhance their balance and coordination abilities, addressing challenges such as poor balance, clumsiness, or difficulty with complex movements. Our therapists use evidence-based techniques to improve motor planning, spatial awareness, and proprioception.
Fine motor skills development: Our therapy programs also focus on refining fine motor skills, including hand-eye coordination, manipulation, and dexterity, to support tasks such as writing, drawing, cutting, and self-care activities.
Sensory processing therapy: We provide sensory integration interventions to help children regulate their sensory experiences and improve their ability to process and respond to sensory input effectively.
Social skills training: We offer social skills groups and individual therapy sessions to support children in developing social communication, cooperation, and peer interaction skills in various settings.
Self-care and independence(ADL): Assisting children in developing the skills necessary for self-care routines, such as hygiene, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.

Pediatric occupational therapists use a variety of techniques, including play-based interventions, sensory integration activities, and behavioral strategies, to help children acquire and improve these skills. The goal is to promote independence, confidence, and participation in daily life activities, fostering overall development and well-being in children.
